Top Creations has pioneered a bacteria-driven method for metal extraction, including gold, through a three-year development of specialized bacteria used in bioleaching or biomining. This process involves crushing sulfide minerals, placing them in bioreactors, and introducing specific bacteria like Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans and Acidithiobacillus thiooxidans. These bacteria oxidize the sulfides, freeing gold from the ore, which can then be recovered through conventional methods such as carbon adsorption or solvent extraction.
